Realidad Maritima

Abstract

¿Qué es la realidad marítima? Es el conjunto de todas las actividades existentes en el país relacionadas con el mar y sus afluentes, oceánicos, fluviales y lacustres. En suma es todo cuanto existe en el ámbito marítimo de la realidad nacional. La realidad marítima es la parte de la realidad nacional, que constituye la real capacidad actual y disponible para contribuir a impulsar el desarrollo y garantizar la seguridad nacional mediante el uso sostenible del mar. El estudio e investigación de la realidad marítima recae en el campo de la doctrina marítima, toda vez que esta comprende el conjunto de principios y su consecuente teoría aplicada al ámbito marítimo teniendo en cuenta sus características, pues define conceptos, genera métodos y facilita el aprendizaje del conocimiento de las ciencias marítimas para promover y proteger los intereses nacionales. En esta oportunidad centramos nuestra atención en un aspecto determinante de la realidad marítima nacional: el comercio del servicio de transporte marítimo con mayor incidencia en el mar.

What is the maritime reality? It is the set of all the existing activities in the country related to the sea and its tributaries, oceanic, fluvial and lacustrine. In short, it is everything that exists in the maritime area of the national reality. The maritime reality is the part of the national reality that constitutes the real current and available capacity to contribute to promote development and guarantee national security through the sustainable use of the sea. The study and research of the maritime reality falls in the field of maritime doctrine, since this comprises the set of principles and its consequent theory applied to the maritime field taking into account its characteristics, since it defines concepts, generates methods and facilitates the learning of the knowledge of maritime sciences to promote and protect national interests. In this opportunity we focus our attention on a determining aspect of the national maritime reality: the trade of the maritime transport service with greater incidence in the sea.
