La importancia de la estrategia y la cultura organizacional en las instituciones militares.

Abstract

Más que planificación, las organizaciones militares del futuro necesitarán una mayor capacidad de sus líderes para elaborar estrategias institucionales, orientadas a resultados. Pues sin buenas estratégias, la planificación se puede convertir en un simple trámite administrativo. Las estrategias, al estar generadas por individuos, también están fuertemente influenciadas y definidas por el marco cultural y social de los líderes que las formulan.

More than planning, military organizations of the future will need greater capacity on the part of their leaders to develop institutional strategies geared toward results. Without good strategies, planning can become a mere administrative formality. Strategies, being generated by individuals, are also strongly influenced and defined by the cultural and social framework of the leaders who formulate them.
